Maintenance
Ramshaw Real Estate prides itself on a timely, respectful, and talented Maintenance team and has developed strong relationships through the years with external specialists to handle more complex issues as they arise. Tenants submit maintenance requests through their online tenant portal by inputting their property name and unit number, contact information, and description of the problem. It is then received by our maintenance supervisor who assigns it to a maintenance team member based on experience, availability, and area of expertise, if applicable. Most maintenance issues are resolved within 48 hours.
Ramshaw Real Estate also offers a 24/7 Emergency Maintenance service for problems that occur after hours and cannot wait until 8:00 am the following business day. Examples of Emergency Maintenance calls are: water leaks, loss of heat during winter, locked out of unit, frozen pipes, compromised security.
Lock Outs
Accidents happen; we’ve all locked ourselves out of our apartment or car once or twice! During normal business hours, 8:00 – 5:00 pm, please call our office (217-359-6400) and a member of our Leasing team will assist with a lock out and meet you at your unit to let you in. There is a $20.00 CASH fee for a lock out. For lockouts that occur after hours, please call the Emergency Maintenance line (217-531-3338) and a member of our on call Maintenance fee will let you back into your unit for an $80.00 CASH fee.
