HOW DO SCHEDULE A TOUR?

Please call our Leasing Team at 217-359-6400 to schedule a tour. We show apartments Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We require a 24-hour notice to the current tenant before showing their unit. You are also welcome to submit a tour request using the Contact Us tab above and a member of our Leasing Team will get back to you soon!

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO PASS A RENTAL APPLICATION?

Generally, there are three areas for qualification: income, background, and credit check. Due to a large student tenant population, Ramshaw Real Estate has separate criteria for our on campus and off campus properties. Regardless of financial ability, all tenants must pass a background check to lease with Ramshaw Real Estate. Students with a valid I-CARD leasing an on-campus property do not need to meet income requirements and are exempt from the $25 application fee. Every person over the age of 18 that will be living in the unit, however, must complete a rental application (found here). Ramshaw Real Estate does not require a parent or guarantor to cosign the lease. Off campus properties, however, require a cumulative monthly income of three times the monthly rent for approval. Off campus applicants must also pass a credit check.

HOW CAN I SUBMIT A MAINTENANCE REQUEST?

Please submit a maintenance request through your Online Portal. This is the fastest and most secure way for Ramshaw Real Estate to receive your request.
