Pet Policy

At Ramshaw Real Estate, we understand that pets are important members of many families, and we strive to accommodate our residents' needs whenever possible. However, it's important to note that while some of our rental properties are pet-friendly, not all locations permit pets.

 

Pet-Friendly Properties

Certain rental properties within our portfolio are designated as pet-friendly. These properties allow residents to live with their beloved pets in their units.

Non-Pet-Friendly Properties

Some of our rental properties do not permit pets. Residents applying to these locations should be aware that pets are not allowed on the premises.

Rental Application Considerations

When submitting a rental application, applicants must specify whether they intend to have pets on the premises. Applying to properties that are deemed as not pet-friendly when intending to have pets may result in the denial of the rental application.

Pet Deposits, Fees, and Vaccinations

For properties that are pet-friendly, a monthly pet fee is required. All applicants must provide proof of vaccination and ensure that their vaccinations are up to date.

Pet Restrictions

Residents may be permitted one pet, which should not exceed 40lbs, unless otherwise approved by the lessor.

Certain breeds or types of pets may be restricted or prohibited in accordance with local regulations and property management policies. Applicants may contact our agency to request a list of restricted pets.

Pet Etiquette

Pet owners are expected to ensure that their pets do not disturb other residents or cause damage to the property. Pets must be kept on a leash and under control when in common areas, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Pet Agreement

Prior to bringing a pet onto the premises, residents must sign a pet agreement outlining their responsibilities as pet owners and agreeing to abide by the community's pet policies.
